Our Services & Approach
The groups and services at Kids Together, LLC are provided by a unique group of licensed clinical social workers who offer a nurturing, innovative, and fun learning environment.
The majority of the social skills groups are led concurrently by two therapists who plan interventions and discuss the progress of each participating child. It is our belief that this team approach increases each child’s likelihood for success, as it enables double the modeling, coaching, and guidance within the group’s social interactions. Our therapists also collaborate with parents and any additional professionals involved in the child’s care plan (as requested.)
The Kids Together philosophy is that a series of successful group experiences will ultimately lead a child to increased awareness of social skills and a boost in self-confidence. Our team approach affords each child the benefit of professionals with expertise in different modalities, such as music, movement and sensory activities, mindfulness exercises, therapeutic games, team building and communication activities. We integrate input from earlier group observations, parents, and any available school information in order to develop the most beneficial skill activities for each group session. Our comprehensive approach extends to additional services if needed, such as individual sessions, sibling/family sessions, parent consultations, referrals and school observations.
